I don't know how many of you here are familiar with this kind of planet but sandstorms seem common here. they can be dangerous if you're not prepared!
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org

if you HAVE TO go outside when it's bad try to stick to higher ground! there will be less sand and it will be easier to see. make sure you wear goggles or at least protect your eyes no matter what
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
TO: ALL
cover your nose and mouth too! some cloth like a bandana works fine. if you have water to spare getting the cloth a little wet makes it easier to breathe through
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
TO: ALL
be careful! don't go out alone if you can. the best idea is to just stay inside! you're not missing any scenery worth seeing believe me.

I have cloth to spare to cover your faces.
FROM: suyumkhe@cdc.org
Have you been through many sandstorms, Luke?
no subject
I'm fine I was expecting something like this honestly
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
they are very common on my planet. I'm lucky I happen to have my goggles from home
no subject
From the captain's warnings?
FROM: suyumkhe@cdc.org
But there's little sand down here. Only water and darkness. I wonder which is better.
no subject
yes. She said water would be scarce and we should bring things to cover our faces
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
I guess it depends on the water. did you go down there on purpose?
no subject
I would not suggest drinking it, though I cannot see it clearly.
FROM: suyumkhe@cdc.org
You believe I would explore the underground willingly?
no subject
I don't know! there's plenty of stuff down there worth exploring. I wouldn't be surprised if you wanted to explore it
[Like... he does...]
no subject
Curiosity won't serve you well I see!
FROM: suyumkhe@cdc.org
Would you like me to bring you a souvenir?
no subject
does it ever?
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
as long as its not sewage. I've seen enough of that for a lifetime believe me
no subject
I like to think it does at times. Otherwise, life would be too dull.
FROM: suyumkhe@cdc.org
Tell me what things you enjoy.

You think this place is even capable of sandstorms?
[ because she's never been in one and kind of doesn't want to ever be. ]
no subject
yes I think it's really just a matter of time
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
are you in a safe place? Do you need any help
no subject
I'm OK, Luke. I'm not exactly keen on staying in one place for too long here.
FROM: dasilva.sharon@cdc.org
If you're not busy, I could use a partner to check some places out.
no subject
that's a good idea! if you have to go outside it's best to travel in groups. Of course I'll go with you. where do you need to go?
no subject
I was thinking of hitting up one of the gold churches, and maybe Home Depot for tools.
[ because who doesn't need tools, right? ]
no subject
anything to get more tools sounds like a great idea to me but why the gold churches? if you don't mind me asking
no subject
Fetch and I found some interesting texts in the religious of lady blah blah and I wondered if the gold ones would contain something similar, that's all.
[ a religion can tell you a lot about the culture it came from ]

FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
Wow! what kind of texts? I'll tag along if you don't think I'll get in the way!

FROM: strider.dave@cdc.org

no subject
I guess I wasn't paying much attention to that with all the sandstorms contaminated water and strange underground monsters lately
no subject
just another normal day in the simultaneously futuristic and hella primitive wilds of space
FROM: strider.dave@cdc.org
at least theres not a shortage of beverages or general food stuffs if you seek shelter in taco bell or costco
FROM: strider.dave@cdc.org
burger king works pretty well too
no subject
I've never heard of that is it native to your planet
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
I'd ask if you think we should trust the food here but we don't really have a choice
no subject
yes theyre native to my planet
on a nice day you could see them stalking across the serengeti
FROM: strider.dave@cdc.org

FROM: strider.dave@cdc.org

FROM: strider.dave@cdc.org

no subject
I know you're trying to confuse me Dave
FROM: skywalker.luke@cdc.org
