Tools and Technologies

Beginner division - 

If you don't have much experience coding, you can start out with a block-based environment, like Scratch or MIT App Inventor, and create applications without much technical knowledge. If you do have some experience, you can use simple but powerful languages such as Python or Java, or make websites with HTML and CSS. 

Advanced division - 

Having more experience, you are encouraged to use whatever you need to bring your idea to life! You can use web frameworks(like React or Angular), database systems, APIs, AI tools(such as Tensorflow and PyTorch), cloud computing, or any other relevant technology.

Inspiration

Think about a problem your town, community, society, or the world faces related to the climate or sustainability, and then brainstorm and design a solution using technology. Or, check out the UN's Sustainble Development Goals, and use those to guide your journey!
