Every now and then, Charley and I trick ourselves into thinking we’ve unlocked the secret level of parenting.

Tonight? Felt like a legit achievement unlock.

• 3yo fell asleep on the couch by 6:30. I carried her to bed like a sleepy loot drop.
• 5yo sailed through bedtime without a single side quest or boss battle. Brushed his teeth without even rolling for resistance.
• And 7yo? She just started putting herself to bed while I was still reading to her brother.

Is… is this what a peaceful evening feels like?
Have we levelled up??
(Probably just in time for a random 2am encounter, but I’ll take it.)
