AVON Streaming

AVON Is a comprehensive video collection of over 80,000 titles spanning the widest range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music, and more. Curated for the educational experience, the massive depth of content and breadth of content-types, e.g., documentaries, films, demonstrations, etc., make AVON a useful resource for faculty and students. Note: Since this is a trial, you will pass through Clarivate's interface before arriving at the AVON Database.

ASTM Compass

Provides online access to 13,000+ standards, as well as AASHTO, AATCC, API, AWWA, CGA, IES, IOGP, UNE, and UOP to ensure safety, improve quality, and help engineers gain a competitive advantage. Combining standards with eBooks and articles, this database provides one of the most comprehensive libraries of technical information available in the world.

IMPORTANT! Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) on ASTM standards and related intellectual property is prohibited. Violations will result in suspension of access.
EBSCO-hosted Databases
NEW INTERFACE - EBSCO remains the host/platform on which many of Concordia’s online databases reside. This is their new interface. Download the app to conveniently search, save, read, annotate, and listen to EBSCO-hosted database articles on your phone.
JSTOR
Used in more than 13,000 schools, universities, and institutions around the world, the collections in JSTOR include peer-reviewed scholarly journals, respected literary journals, academic monographs, research reports, and primary sources from libraries’ special collections and archives.

Kanopy Streaming
Schroeder Library's Kanopy subscription provides access to a base collection of over 10,000 film-based content designed to enhance university-level academic studies.
Naxos Music Library
Provides streaming access to millions of both standard and rare classical music tracks. Download the app to be able to listen to classical music on your preferred device.

Nexis Uni
Academic search engine that provides access to international, national, local news, as well as radio and television transcripts. Also includes business and law sources, including U.S. Supreme Court decisions dating back to 1790.

Tip: Begin by selecting from the “All Content Type” menu, found on the far right of the search bar.
Oxford Music Online
Access point for Grove Music Online and other Oxford music reference resources. Oxford/Grove Music Online (GMO) is considered the world’s premier online music encyclopedia. Search this database to find and verify facts about music, musicians, and/or music-making.

Tip: This database like an music encyclopedia.
Oxford Reference Online
Multi-discipline reference product that spans 25 different subject areas, offering access to over 2 million digitized entries from Oxford University Press’s Dictionaries, Companions and Encyclopedias.

ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) Global
The most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses in the world, and is the official dissertations repository for the Library of Congress. Connects scholarship from 4,100 universities, diverse voices, ideas, and perspectives.

Tip: Doctoral candidates and Master’s Degree candidates should enter all terms into the search box and use “quotations” to search for exact phrases.
