Rules:

- Only current students, or those who are within 1 year of their graduation, are eligible to hack as students.

- All non-students are eligible to hack, too, but they must submit to the The Grown-Ups Table category. Non-students are ineligible for other categories and they are ineligible to win prizes.

- Submissions for Cypher are for Cypher alone

- To compete for the Best Beginner Hack, everyone on your team must be within their first year of coding

- Each hack may be made by a team of between 1-4 people.

- Each hacker is only able to submit 1 project, but can submit for as many challenges that fit your project

- Hacking begins immediately after the opening ceremony on Friday and closes 10am ET Sunday, April 2.

- All hacks must pre-submit to Devpost by 10pm ET Saturday, April 1.

- If you are continuing a project started before Cypher, you must clearly state what changes were made during the hackathon in your Devpost submission.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection: Your projects will be judged based on quality, significance, creativity/risk-taking, and relevancy to the category.
