Okay, at the risk of sounding like a complete dumbass, are these flowers normal? I haven't been touching them because I'm allergic back home, but I'm noticing the people that DO touch them are doing some weird shit.
Would I be allergic here too? Am I really here? I get hungry.
Okay, that's philosophical. OR IS IT?
Right, so, if you don't have a roommate, and someone else doesn't have a roommate, can you like, move in together? Asking for a friend.
(ooc: i know you can't move, but amanda does not.)

The flowers are not normal, and they do have effects. Especially avoid the thorny ones, those cause a rash and...other problems. The ivy isn't bad, though, it can let you fly.
We don't know if we're really here, but we do require food, sleep, other sustenance as necessary. Philosophical or not, that is a matter we're trying to resolve. We do dream while we sleep, too, whatever that says about what's going on.
And no, you can't move into someone else's room. The House or Hotel will eventually kick you out if you try it--just ask Silje and Victor.
Also, none of that makes you sound like a dumbass. We're all sort of flailing to find our footing. A couple months ago, everything was fished and seaweed and underwater themed. The flowers are a new thing. The local 'flavor' seems to shift on a periodic basis.

Well thanks for not calling me a dumbass. You were really helpful. What's your name?

I'm Coda Sinneslöschen. I'm from Earth, and the year was 2020 before I was brought here. Yourself?
[Depending on Amanda's knowledge of old urban legends, the name Sinneslöschen may hold some meaning.]

I don't mean that in the ephemeral, spiritual, or chemical way, either. I mean physically. You'll actually fly! It's bloody FANTASTIC!!!

Anyone's guess about shit like allergies. If you required something where you came from, though, chances are you still require it. Sleep, food, blood, whatever.
Don't know about staying in the starter buildings. You can move in at some other buildings.

I think so far only 5 types of flowers seem to have side effects, but of course it could be more since I haven't touched all types.

nah they're definitely not normal flowers
even if you arent allergic, id stay away from most of them
unless you want to share random memories with people or end up blurting the truth to anyone you meet
the ivy lets you fly tho
that one i can get behind
as for your philosophy 101, im still convinced this is just some digital afterlife weve all been uploaded into
but some people say they arent dead at home so that theory might be bunk
also i mean you can move out to another building? i don't know about hotel rooms though

And yeah that's kind of philosophical. Helps if you pull some Aristotle shit, "I think therefore I am". You're aware of yourself here and now, you still have bodily functions and needs. Semantics aside, it's not that different.
