Decor To Adore is a lifestyle site that aims to inspire readers in such areas as home décor, do-it-yourself projects, and entertaining. The creator of Décor To Adore is Laura Ingalls Gunn. Laura is an interior designer and bargain hunter who believes that everyone can create a beautiful home on a budget. Laura loves to share ideas and tips on how to achieve great looks for less and add other bits of bliss to your life.
Laura currently lives in an older home, aptly named Storybook Cottage. The decor is changed seasonally and shared often. Click on the HOME TOURS tab to see more.
She is slowly remodeling each room with the help of her husband and their two children. She often does style collaborations with her daughter, Lou. Many of these are found under the FASHIONS tab.
Some of the fashion is of the historical genre used for her volunteer work at the Farmers Branch Historical Park and the Little House on the Prairie site in Kansas. More information can be found under the LITTLE HOUSE tab.
When not scouring thrift stores and estate sales Laura enjoys traveling, hoarding antique linens, hosting simple dinners, and she adores dachshunds of all shapes and sizes. Her current sidekick is a dapple pie doxie named Gracie.
