Permissions
May. 4th, 2016 11:46 amAs a demon, Crowley has a couple of powers which need permissions in the case of face to face interactions. He can read minds--he knows what you did last summer; he can also read souls--whether you've been naughty or nice, and if you have one at all, and he has the ability to get a feel for how powerful something is just by being in its vicinity.
I don't want to infomod, so these permissions are a really big deal; please copy/paste and fill in below as required.
Please delete Section A if your character is not a monster of some kind
Please delete Section B if you don't want Crowley to be able to read/feel your character's soul
Please delete Section C if you don't want Crowley to be able to read your character's mind during physical interactions in game. No thoughts are guaranteed to end up spilled, but it might come into play if, say, your character tries to cheat Crowley at cards. It may change how he approaches you if you're a killer for hire, or eat babies--you know, just as an example.
Alternatively, if you want to skip giving me any permissions and want your character to be a closed book for whatever reason, IC or OOC, please feel free to copy the text below and add it to a comment. No explanation is necessary, even for normal characters who otherwise might be susceptible to his powers.

Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Yes

Character name: Johnny Gat
User ID:
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: Bad. Pretty bad.
What their soul looks/feel like: It looks like it's been merged with Satan. Well, his world's Satan, who looks story-book demonic. His wings are feathered, however, and at least Crowley should be able to see that he has a cracked halo. It's power is also visible in the glowing patterns on his right arm.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? 9
Anything else? He has Satan's Cracked Halo, and it grants him a pile of supernatural powers. Crowley is welcome to sense some of them.
Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Yes
Permission to read intimate personal details: Yes, though if he reveals that he knows it Gat won't be as amused as I will be.
What my character did last summer: 387 confirmed murders (He couldn't tell you his actual body-count. Helped save the last of humanity from crazy aliens who captured him because they thought he was the most likely person to keep them from taking over Earth. They tried to weaken him by having him have to watch the execution of his girlfriend Aisha repeatedly. He's the right-hand-man in a gang-turned-government... thing called the Saints. He is very loyal to his friends, to the point of literally going to hell to rescue his boss/best friend.
Section D: Notes
Anything else?: Oh... and it's his world's Alistor Crowley's spirit board that ended getting his boss dragged to hell still kicking, so that will be interesting if/when he finds out Crowley's name. Permission for a punch to the face?
At this rate he's going to end up punching all of the kings of the various hells in their faces.no subject

My character is a: gorgeous hunk of angel meat
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: No soul but plenty of good, old-fashioned Grace. Crowley can probably spot it a mile-off
What their soul looks/feel like: All-consuming white fire. With hints of chocolate, peanut butter and caramel.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? 9
Anything else? No tongue Crowley.
Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: No
Permission to read intimate personal details: No
What my character did last summer: I think Crowley will know plenty of rumours about Gabriel, about him being a pagan (and accepting delicious sacrifices) and shaking up with Kali etc, without needing any powers to do so. The King of Hell hears these things, right?
Section D: Notes
Anything else?: If you want to chat about how anything is going, just plurk me (~@fallenappleinc) or PM me :D

Character name: Dexter Morgan
User ID:
Section A: Monstrous Mentions
My character is a: Possessed by a demon. Technically is a demon now for game purposes, but yeah. Additional demon is a thing.
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: Missing, most likely. Either that, or the darkness of his demon.
What their soul looks/feel like: No soul to speak of. Dark Passenger could probably be sensed-- he's got black wings, talons, and fangs. Don't know if Moloch was ever mentioned on SPN, but Dexter's demon is one of his many sons.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? #5
Anything else?
Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Go for it!
Permission to read intimate personal details: Yes.
What my character did last summer: Optional: Demonic serial killer is very apt. He's scared of blood if he doesn't see it on his terms, due to sitting in it for three days with his brother, and his mother's head. So there's that.

Character name: (William) Sherlock Scott Holmes (lol)
User ID:
Section A: Monstrous Mentions
My character is a: boring human
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: Mostly good with a smattering of bad. Like a dalmatian!
What their soul looks/feel like: Like a swarm of angry, drugged up bees being shoved into a huge, broken rubik's cube.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? 7
Anything else? in a world where there is only humans Sherlock's like a 10. but u know this is not the case in hell
Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Yes
Permission to read intimate personal details: Yes although be aware of his weird mind palace thing. that might create interesting obstacles?
What my character did last summer: So, Sherlock 'killed himself' then went on a two year expedition of murdering all of Moriarty's associates. Then he came back and proceeded to shoot someone in the face to protect his BFF and his questionable wife. He likes John A Lot but refuses to look into any actual Feelings regarding him so hey do whatever you want with that
Section D: Notes
Anything else?: He died of a drug overdose and is pretty embarrassed about that. he'd rather no one rly found out least of all John ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Section A: Monstrous Mentions
My character is a: A human! (gasp)
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: Not explicitly bad, but more "by any means necessary" bad.
What their soul looks/feel like: Probs the most orderly soul ever seen, it's like an administration's dream and everything is in it's place. It's a determined soul that takes no shit and despises chaos.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? 6, he did run an entire army so that's got to count for something in his mind.
Anything else? Surprised he has a soul, he's a ginger.
Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Yes
Permission to read intimate personal details: No.
What my character did last summer: Nothing major, that he probably enjoyed killing billions of people with the press of a single button.
Section D: Notes
Anything else?: Died because his associate Kylo Ren had a penchant for destroying consoles and had wrecked the console of the escape shuttle. Thanks Ren.

Character name: Kylo Ren
User ID:
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: Conflicted.
What their soul looks/feel like: Clouded, though more dark than light these days. There's a tremendous sense of push-pull going on within him, however, despite this; think like a tidal wave crashing against a large rock.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? 7 perhaps pushing 8.
Anything else? Nothing springs to mind.
Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Yes, though it might be a little tougher than with an average person since he's been trained to guard against that sort of thing.
Permission to read intimate personal details: Yes, again same as above.
What my character did last summer: Ren killed his father, has doubts about his mentor and is harboring some incredibly confusing feelings for the girl that is the direct cause of his death.
Section D: Notes
Anything else?: On the surface, Ren's thoughts appear smooth and calm but beneath that they're incredibly erratic and violent. He's emotionally compromised, can turn on a dime and tends to let loose in a fairly violent and destructive manner if provoked into an actual outburst.

Character name: Chase Collins

Section A: Monstrous Mentions
My character is a: Witch. It's a genetic thing in his canon.
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: Mostly bad, with some small, untapped potential for good.
What their soul looks/feel like: Smoldering, in both the "actually burning" way and the "seething with hatred and anger" way.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? When his magic's actually functioning properly, it's a 8-10, because he's on a massive power trip. Currently, his magic's borked, so it's closer to a 3 right now, and he's full of insecurity and resentment about it.
Anything else? Nothing I can think of yet.
Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Yes
Permission to read intimate personal details: Yes
What my character did last summer: He murdered his adoptive parents on his 18th birthday by causing a horrific car wreck with magic. And, after tracking him down, he convinced his birth dad to basically commit suicide and give Chase his remaining magic. And he murdered some classmate because the guy caught him doing some magic and asked too many questions. And he beat the shit out of a guy with magic and had a swarm of spiders bite the guy's girlfriend until she went into anaphylactic shock. And he threatened to murder a bunch of other people and tried to beat up/murder his main target in pursuit of MORE POWERRRRR. Those are his biggest crimes; everything else is probably just standard teenage douchery.

Character name: Dr. Edward Richtofen
User ID:
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: Awful. Horrible. Literally the worst.
What their soul looks/feel like: It's blue and glowy, for one thing! Like this zombie's eyes. He also probably has two other, smaller souls floating around in there, since he has super ambiguously-explained alien spirits stuck in his mind. Those would be smaller, darker, maybe orange-ish, and stick near his head. Or whatever the head part of the soul is.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? He rates himself a solid 10, but realistically he's more a 7 or an 8.
This is true for his looks as well.Anything else? In canon he eventually becomes an omnipotent god-like immortal, so he's capable of being a literal 10! Not sure if that counts for anything in Little Hades, though. Currently, he's just a human.
Section C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Yes, though he has literal voices in his head (not schizophrenia or anything; see "ambiguously-explained alien spirits" above). They scream a bunch of awful shit near-constantly. Richtofen's mind is not a fun time.
Permission to read intimate personal details: Yes
What my character did last summer: He has murdered so many people. The first chunk were killed with some regrets as part of science experiments (trying to create super-soldiers and bring people back to life, and all that jazz). The latter 3/4s were killed in cold blood, simply because he wanted to. Notable crimes include locking his boss and the boss's young (8-ish) daughter in a confined space with a hellhound with the intent to let them get mauled to death; vivisecting a man in a misguided attempt to find his "trust barrier," because Richtofen doesn't understand how trust works; experimenting on the daughter from before without her father's knowledge or consent; brainwashing 3 soldiers and giving them amnesia, while also experimenting on them to try and make them super-soldiers; deliberately keeping those guys in the dark and pretending to be just as brainwashed as they were, while using them to achieve his own goals; starting a zombie apocalypse; and jaywalking.
Then, buried so deeply that even Richtofen often has trouble remembering it, there's knowledge in there that he used to have a family that he actually cared for. Granted, he harbored resentment toward his mother for her disciplinary tactics, and he bullied his sister, but when his parents died while he was in college, he was devastated. This was, y'know, back before he was driven mad by an ancient Lovecraftian power. So there's that.
Section D: Notes
Anything else?: He time-traveled a lot, though almost exclusively to zombie-covered wastelands. He died, predictably, via zombie swarm. He's still really upset and embarrassed about that.

Character name: Greg Lestrade
User ID:
Section B: Soul Train
What their soul is like spiritually: Good. Despite having been a cop of one stripe or another for most of his life, and has seen a lot of the evil, terrible things that people can do, he's not actually all that bitter or jaded.
What their soul looks/feel like: Bright, silver-white and calm, as if it would be cool and soothing to touch. He's a protector and a guardian, through and through, and there's a lot of faith there, even though it's not oriented in a typically religious sense.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being God/Aizen/Sin/etc, how powerful would you say your character feels? As far as feels, maybe 2 or 3 if he has some kind of leverage, compared to the stuff he goes up against in Hell, but he's learning, also picking at power that he hasn't quite grasped yet which would bump him up a bit.
a.k.a. I'm going to buy a power for him but haven't decided on what yetSection C: All In Your Head
Permission to read surface thoughts: Yes
Permission to read intimate personal details: No, generally speaking, I think his really intimate thoughts are on pretty secure lockdown but I'm definitely not above making exceptions if it would be fun.
What my character did last summer: Greg's parents were killed when he was a teenager, and technically he died, though they managed to revive him in the ambulance. He has an old scar from that bullet below his ribs on his left side. He still carries some guilt over that, not so much because he feels responsible for not saving them, though there's some of that, but because he felt like he was a disappointment to them in general.
Section D: Notes
Anything else?: I probably should have posted this before now, oops? Sorry about that. >> I have bucket-loads of headcanon, which is where most of this comes from, just throwing it out here for fun. Feel free to hit me up through PM or at caltheninja on plurk.
