Heaven help me, I’m not who I used to be.
Darkness is taking hold, encompassing my soul, weaving its way through my mind. I can feel it, calling to me, whispering my name.
You used to be my light, a glimmer that kept the night at bay, like a sprinkling of stars across my sky, but you’re just a shadow now, not bright enough to guide me home.
The silence between us is deafening.
No words, no empty promises can heal us. It feels like nothing ever will.
It feels like my heart has been torn apart.
I miss you.
