After her chat with Thor, she opts to try and reach out a little more when things happen rather than pretending they didn't and moving on. Passing it off like it's some kind of drug deal, the gift is left behind and Blake texts Bucky to let him know it's waiting for him when he gets in.
Happy belated birthday. I know it's late, but I think it's worth the wait, the card reads as it sits atop a stack of several gifts.
Two are wrapped in one type of paper and bear the label "Sleep Reducing Kit." Inside the paper is an MP3 player (and accessories) loaded with a good amount of hard rock as well as a box of logic puzzles Blake's certain won't last in Bucky's hands.
The other gifts are wrapped in another type of paper and tout themselves as parts of a "Sleep Inducing Kit." There's a leather-bound journal, an empty jar containing instructions on how to fold origami stars... and a large collection of paper strips to fold into said stars, all of them very obviously cut from pornography magazines of varying tastes.
Let no one say Robin John Blake isn't thoughtful. And slightly awful. ]
