Significant Positive
- Making a wish on Bodhum's fireworks and deciding to never bring harm to Cocoon.
- Going to Nautilus with Sazh, seeing the chocobos.
- Jailbreaking with Sazh on the Palamecia and meeting up with Fang. "Gran Pulse style."
- Meeting Fang and becoming friends at Oerba's orphanage.

Significant Neutral
- Becoming Ragnarok with Fang and bringing Cocoon to the ground.
- Meeting Serah. "Face it later".
- Watching Hope's mother volunteer to fight. Snow's all talk.
- Awaking from crystal sleep at the Bodhum Vestige. Pretending to Fang that she doesn't remember their previous Focus.
- Fighting Barthelandus and then travelling back to Cocoon, using the Eidolons to make havoc on the raceway.
- Serah's crystal sleep. The army's attack on the Vestige. Fighting the Fal'Cie Anima.

Significant Negative
- Sazh realising that Vanille is one of the Pulse L'Cie that is responsible for his son's fate.
- Being too afraid to become Ragnarok with Fang, allowing her to do it alone and falling into a crystal sleep. (implied)
- Being played by Fang into admitting she lied about remembering their Focus. The emotional strain leads to the calling of Hecatoncheir.
- Seeing what has become of Oerba in her absence.
- being tortured by Orphanthandelus. Then having to watch Fang's agonising cycle of trying and failing to become Ragnarok alone.

Trivial Positive
- Finding and restoring Bhakti!
- Fabricating a promise between herself and Hope that they would see Pulse together. Hope then fabricates the idea of him liking her.
- Pulling wool out of a sheep's butt.

Trivial Neutral
- Boarding the Purge train in order to return home to Gran Pulse. Sitting beside Hope and his mother Nora, because they seem kind, and acknowledging Sazh and Lightning.
- Drawing a line in the dirt between her and Sazh so he couldn't cross it while she slept.
- Comforting Hope and then running off. "Face it later." The two of them seeing Snow again, and Hope not having the courage to face him. Travelling to the Vestige.
- Snow's clutching at straws at Lake Bresha. Lightning's anger. Then the soldiers. "Uh oh! Then let's run away!"

Trivial Negative
- Fang staying behind to fight the soldiers at Euride Gorge, forcing Vanille to go on alone.
- Lying and pretending that she had been branded at the same time as the rest of the party to avoid explaining her own situation. Remaining silent about her past with Ragnarok.
- Asking Sazh to blame the Pulse L'Cie for the Purge, not Dajh. Crying in the rain.
- Watching Hope's mother die. Slapping Hope around the face and getting him to move.
- Arriving at the Bodhum Vestige with Hope. Expecting Fang, but not finding her. Exploring the Vestige -- Vestige conversations up to meeting Snow.
- The encounter with Snow in the Bodhum Vestige.
