Summary: …What it says on the tin! The anime may be more hazy about whether Malik himself got any of the abuse, but the manga is quite clear that Malik's dad physically abuses him and Rishid. (Ishizu is the only one whose situation is hazy.) So, yes! Malik's dad enjoys hurting people, has no qualms about hurting children, and does so when they disobey. He's also emotionally abusive. The only physical affection in this package memory is from Ishizu and possibly Rishid.

Aather Learned/Effects: • Well, first of all, in Aather, he has more concept of physicality not being violent. So he has more of an emotional context to say "wow, this really sucked."
• …But he loves his dad.
• And it's his own fault for disobeying his dad.
• So Teir WOULD get a boost for allowing Itempas to be physically violent towards him, but Qamar gets the same boost of NOT letting it happen, so it balances out pretty evenly. It's just a really sucky memory and some context if he ever really realizes what child abuse is.
