Eclipse Hacks Rules:
  1. Team Size:

    • Teams can consist of up to 4 participants, with a minimum of 2.
  2. Original Work:

    • All projects must be original and created during the hackathon. Pre-existing code, projects, or submissions from previous events are not allowed.
  3. Submission Deadline:

    • All projects must be submitted by the deadline specified on Devpost. Late submissions will not be accepted or judged.
  4. Use of Open Source Libraries:

    • Participants are encouraged to use open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks, but they must be properly credited. Plagiarism of code or content is strictly prohibited.
  5. GitHub Repository:

    • The project must be submitted via a public GitHub repository. Ensure that all necessary files are included and the project is accessible for judges to review.
  6. Respect and Inclusivity:

    • Participants must adhere to respectful communication and collaboration. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Violators will be disqualified.
  7. Theme Adherence:

    • Projects must align with the hackathon theme of environmental sustainability. The specific prompt will be announced during the event, but solutions should generally aim to address environmental challenges.
  8. Ownership and IP:

    • Participants retain full ownership of their projects, including any intellectual property. However, Eclipse Hacks reserves the right to showcase and promote winning submissions.
  9. Participation Eligibility:

    • The hackathon is open to all students aged 13+. Participants must register through the official sign-up link prior to the event.
