Jan. 21st, 2010 12:23 amWe broke Beth's Mug today.
It's the last of the set of mugs we got for all of us way back when we were first becoming selves-aware. In late 1994 or early 1995 (that seems like forever!)
Beth is one of the people who has faded away so it's not like she's going to be fussed about not having a specific mug. But it still makes us feel sad.
And i'm still wondering if any of the faded away people will ever come back?
It's scary losing people - what if other people go? What if i do? What if we all do? (could that ever happen?)

Date: January 21st, 2010 02:28 am (UTC)I don't know enough about personality and multiples to be able to answer your questions, but I think if you've been selves aware for this long and your current people have been around for 15 years, they're probably not going anywhere unless you deliberately decide to integrate. (Which obviously would work less well for you than being multiple.) I suspect you wouldn't end up with no personality at all, but then something has to explain where all these "celebrities" with no personality or talent have come from! (*joke from other multiple friend*).
