being_homeless has it going on today.

Went to Country Cheese today and then went into a place called something-haven, on Divis at Hayes. It's a small Real Foods style store with a specialty pet section and they have a half door in the doorway between the two sections, because there are two not for sale kittens there.

The Polk Gulch really needs a store like this, only one set up to be high traffic, to keep their prices down.

I'm looking forward to seeing AngelPiReia (BBS handle, not a LJ user) next week & working on the paper-to-PDF database filing with Iglhrc's
asylum project. Hopefully this will turn into a paying internship.
I've got a couple of things in the job popper & if they don't work out at least good networking will have been made. Tired, need food.
