Updatedness:

Roommate is gone for the weekend, not happy stuff for her, unfortunately. For me, and I like her, it means it's just chill time with the cats, which is nice. Also means I can make the midmess of cleaning and not have to think about when she'll be coming home.

Had a three day class on HIV. Great teacher. He kept saying he was off his game, I kept thinking he's the best, so I'll be looking for more classes from him. Fun to note: Wanting to just pass to the flipside of getting the extra credit and missing two points on the whole test, one of which was a miswrite, and wanting to go over the test with the teacher for the extra point. 105 out of a possible 107 and I'm wanting to waste this guys time on 106. Weird. Anything over 90% was passing so I didn't walk up, but I kept looking at the line on the page, thinking I could.

HIV classes are easy, when it comes to what I've had so far, but let's be clear here, they are not easy, ever. The subject matter, doesn't allow for it. The sheer fact of knowing I don't know a tenth of the material, I'm just doing well with what's being presented. Also, it's HIV. I had two 40 oz. drinks (smoothie and coffee) so I was leaving for the restroom and we had a good amount of breaks, so I didn't have to take a break to recover emotionally, but in other classes, I have taken some time to do so.

I'm actually okay with having to wait around for the package delivery, I have so much to do and this gives me a reason to focus on the in home things rather than out and about, having to be responsive to other people.

I'm waiting for a scsi card for the 'puter, I got a solid deal, or at least I think so, we'll know if it works, for the scanner and zipdrive.
I really need to pull a bunch of music off my machine, burn it, just to free up HD space.

No cash, but lots of silver-plated todo's. :>

I have a huge plate of nacho's and coffee spiked with orchata.

Someone has the name Gamontip Prayoontong. Is this the coolest, or what?

Oh good, just got the call to confirm my schedule with switching from MAP to Tarc, which is exactly what I wanted and I get to spend the hours doing what I wanted: On one hand, getting to know the office and regular clientele and going to do outreach and assisting
folks in their appointments.

One of the things I'm comfy doing, is being a recorder/liason/stress defuser for medical and gov't personnel. Its also in line with the actual job I want to start with for the organisation, so you know, a little hands on experience won't kill me. *g*

I think the rest of my day should be immersed in Spanish lessons.
