I think I've just qualified as a "privacy nut" again. I've been playing around with the Mac OSX software and it has this weird default: It remembers your last file search on the machine. Mind out of gutter folks, I'm not tee-heeing about the XnetX, I mean, it remembers the last operations peformed and presents them in the fields. So, anyone coming onto the machine behind me, (Yes, I know how to logout) can look at what the last user was doing. To me, this isn't an ease of use feature, and I'm into most of those, no, this is a tracking default, and it irritates the hell out of me. I'll be looking for the "don't fill in my fields" checkbox.

In other non-news, I'm looking for a huge old hulking 20 something inch monitor. I have a big ugly desk to put it on, and I have to find it in or near S.F., because there is no way I'm doing Ebay shipping.

In otter news, Stephan Dunifer is at again, this time with a T.V. device, which broadcasts indie programming over a 4-5 miles radius (Dimly lit bulb, he's not, but this is gonna have to go up, but hey, it's the first version.) and can be picked up ...by your old pigeon stand antennae. Got one? I do. Personally I think, "Streaming bittorrent via P2P" , but this, this is definately Max Headroom ala blank reg. Now, I don't know if lil' old T.V.'s can be be outfitted with an antennae to catch this stuff, I have a feeling they already are.

With the onset of camera's in cellphones, I'm sure the cost of a big hulking retrofitted video cam isn't far behind.

This lady has it going on.
She walks the streets, picking up wireless scanning devices and puts them on her T.V., in her shopping cart.
