The new energy savin' bulbs will have to be replaced, they don't work well with the dimmer, so I was up earlier than s'pected. The cats thought this was neato and then were pouty. Rommie has learned he can get good pets from isara by rolling over in front of her. Now Tigger is following suit, this is a good thing, Rommie has been larnin' to be less skittish. This morning she was gone quickly and they commenced to pounce the door to her room and yell a little. "Hey!, You're up! C'mon, it's our time!~" Crashed out on the couch, they would come by for momentary finger tip brushes & then back at the doors, once one was opened it was the same on the next. Cuteness. They cuddled up on my feet.

Last night was a good class, though I do wish they'd taught other than what can be found on their website. At 1am this morning, C came by, guess she'd been kicked out of the alleged fathers' place & then waited too long to get into a shelter. He says he asked her not to leave once it was late, but there she was. So, in getting up this morning, she's gone. I go to look for her and she's coming up the block to pick up her headphones. She may well have been waiting for me, she's known to do this.

We got almost all of the things done today which have been on the backburner for the last 6 weeks. I'd be annoyed that her guy didn't get this stuff handled, but that's in the past. We got her physical, and if it had been done weeks ago, she'd be in supportive housing. She's at a shelter now, I just left her there. I'll pick her up at 8am. Roommate isn't keen on the idea of her being here tonight. Breakfast at MickeyD's, she's the one who chose it, it's a toss up if I make things for her, just because it's not like "store bought" food. Court just afterwards and then onto an assistance program so the city won't cut her services. Then back to the shelter to get a case manager for her. (Yay! Another social worker!)

There's a social worker for her Federal services, and an advocacy program. There's a social worker for her child & I'm the advocacy person for her there and with another social worker for her mental health services. All of the social workers and advocacy programs rely have me as her contact point & it's doable, but it does take some juggling..mainly to keep them working together.

Hopefully I can get the Federal services & her mental services people to work together so she can continue to have mental health services & housing & medical. The housing may be federal or private, but the federal services help pay for it if it's private. I picked up an answering machine for the alleged father, just so he can't evade the social workers. (Their calls to him, have had to come to me, because I have an answering machine & fax.)

Hopefully the mental health services will come up with an assisted living facility and we can forgo the shelter system, we're crossing fingers for this in the next couple of days. If the assisted living pans out, then the evaluation the feds need to have done, will get done is small parts and more thoroughly, this means an easier vetting of her illness for her and therefore more help forthcoming & it also clears the way, so the expected Fed feet dragging is, if not removed, then revealed sooner.

Of the list which needed doing when we left court 6 weeks ago an extra thing was added because one service center has been defunded, so now we have to go somewhere else & I couldn't do one of the things, because I'm not the alleged father. Everything else we needed accomplished for court tomorrow, was accomplished today in 5 hours. So, happy on one hand, can't believe her the alleged father nor the social workers got this stuff handled, on the other. They know what her issues are for getting to appointments, so why they just let her drift in this care, is beyond me.
