In a recent post at [livejournal.com profile] fandom_action [livejournal.com profile] hanabishirecca points to a sensible Open letter to LiveJournal and SixApart drafted by [livejournal.com profile] bubble_blunder.

Posts and the letter make valid points contrary to what I read in the most recent post of [livejournal.com profile] lj_biz. They still don't get it and treat the Open Letter with a certain snotty arrogance by saying that [livejournal.com profile] bubble_blunder attempted to...

At the moment communities cannot be tranfered. I know someone at <lj user="lj_sec" ís working on that, but it will take time. I only fear that people will disperse and one can never find them again. *sigh*

I'm not going anywhere just yet, although I have a fall-back at Greatest Journal with the same username. My LJ will remain my rimary connection to the fandom until such time as it seems every one else leaves.

There are more AoS people over at Horatians (http://www.horatians.org/forum/index.php) where you can touch base, make news friends and (maybe) stay in contact with old ones if it does appear LJ is a sinking ship.

Thanks for the link to Horatians, though HH is quite a bit from my mind. Also, a number of people on my flist are not attached to AoS or gone elsewhere. Those are the people who may matter the most to me.

I think GJ is most likely to host most of the people I'm attached to. :D
