Pre-Game



- After seeing how well Guy's Growlithe seemed to help him, Suzanne gave a Growlithe to Luke hoping it might hasten his recovery.

Beginning



- Riolu was picked because as a relatively independent (read: low maintenance that Luke couldn't mess up) pokemon that might also spar with him. Basically keep him amused.

Post Haircut



- He found an abandoned egg in Aramis Springs and felt too bad to leave it there.
- He picked up a Pikachu after lowering the lands.
- Growlithe evolved shortly after.

End Game



- Pikachu evolved on their first visit to the Tower of Rem, having been trying to work as hard as Luke.
- Riolu evolved on their second visit to the Tower of Rem.
- Togepi had been steadily evolving but evolved into Togekiss after Luke learned his fonons were separating.
- Luke gave them to Tear after the final fight with Van and asked her to find good homes for them.
