Even the blind should have noticed the signs of new critters with the arrival of Jumanji to this place.
[He pauses, scratching the scraggle of facial hair on his jawline.]
I'm lookin' to put together a huntin' party. The more people help out, the larger the haul will be to share and the safer we'll be while out there.
There's more than creatures out in the jungle, so it's best if you can hold your own. [Meaning he's not babysitting anyone on this excursion.]
Just give me a holler. I'm aimin' to head out soon.

I can help, if you need more.

[In other words, shoot to kill not to wound.]

Understood. Where's your starting point?

He wouldn't feel right leaving others alone in this kind of terrain, anyway.]
Outside of the dorms it is.
Re: text
[There's an unspoken thanks somewhere in there too, but only if he's useful honestly.]
voice.
voice
[He's teasing of course, though his teasing voice isn't much different than his to business voice.]
How are you on arrows?
voice
[ She gets it, though. She's just teasing back anyway. He's not that annoying. ]
I lost a few in the mist in that other place. I'm okay, but I'll need to get Stark to make me some new ones again just to keep my numbers up.
voice
[Though he wouldn't expect anything less of her.]
I picked up a few from a shop in town last week if you want 'em.
[Because he's not admitting that he saw them and thought of her.]
voice
I'd really appreciate it. You sure you don't need them?
voice
[Because what is censoring oneself around impressionable youngsters?]
Nah, I don't let my bolts wander off like some people I know. 'Sides, they have a different shaft length.
voice
Probably shouldn't be fighting each other in this... 'shithole'.
Not my fault the monsters ran off with them in their eyes. They didn't die easily.
voice
[The teenage girl in the horror city, that's who.]
You got me there. Them fuckers were right nasty. At least you put 'em on the run.
voice
[ Excuse you she's almost 18 which is adult age. Someday. How does time work here again? ]
Did my best.
Where did you end up that first day?
voice
[Because basically she just put a target on her back for Compass to add to their To Kill List.]
The cornfields with the murderous packs of children.
voice
[ They're all targets. tell her something new. ]
That one sounded worse. I wouldn't want to deal with kids.
voice
[Even then one had to be careful.]
It's easier to do when they're trying to kill you. [Still, there's something in his voice that holds a bit of haunted irritation.]
voice
[ She doesn't press the kids thing. That sounds bad enough as it is, and he doesn't sound too happy about it himself. ]
Re: voice
[He's glad for it. Upon inspection, nothing had been abnormal about the children aside from the obvious murder motive. It's easier to kill walkers and monsters than children, even when they're trying to stab him.]
voice
[ Monsters are one thing. People are another. Especially children. ]
voice
[Luckily, this wasn't the first time Daryl had to do something unsavory to survive. He already had a dark place to store the guilt prepared and ready.]
no subject
What do you mean by Jumanji?
no subject
[It's a classic, but a jedi wouldn't know of that.]
no subject
I... see.
[A jungle coming out of a book? Sounds like something for a young child. Anyway. Getting back to the point of why he answered.]
I want to come along.
no subject
[He has to ask, even if it is a laughable question considering the person he was asking.]

no subject
[Except he's surprisingly good with babies. Who knew?]
Can you track?
no subject
I don't excel at it but I'll do my best if need be?
no subject
[Learning on the job was the best way to track in his opinion.]
I'm Daryl, and I'll be out front in ten.
no subject
Obi-Wan. I'll meet you there.
ooc - did you want to thread action out or handwave.
[And he'll be outside in about seven or eight, just because he'd rather be early for these sorts of things.]
