WEEK➊➎/DAY➍ ●○● VOICE
( kyo hasn't been anywhere. after a certain point in 'salem's lot, he'd simply vanished, hidden himself far away, and that had continued upon the world's changing into this new form of zelien: he'd just been gone, tucked himself somewhere high and secluded, without a word to anyone.
maybe no one noticed; that's not really his concern. even after days of trying to hold himself together, he feels shaky and uncertain. it's only practice, and an easy target to hate, that's let him step forward now, without an ounce of his usual bluster. if anything, he sounds tired, and while that's probably easier to deal with, it doesn't precisely indicate good things about his emotional state. )
Oi.
Last time the train was here, something happened. Everything went dark and weird. Someone said it was the "void," like when those COMPASS bastards took prisoners a while back. ( frankly, he has no idea what that was; he's just repeating what he heard. ) That means, ( a faint edge of impatience, ) there was some shit they didn't want anyone to see. That means the train station has something going on, and it's a weak point.
I don't give a shit about a jungle, or that it's hot, or where they keep trying to throw us. The train station is a weak point, and I wanna go the hell home. ( and there's a strong challenge in his tone; less bluster and more accusing. 'don't you want to go home, too?' the fact is, though, that kyo has no idea what to do with the information. it's desperation leading him to share it: someone else has to know, right? )

I didn't see what you saw back then, but that station is where we all arrived in the first place. I think if there's anywhere that has some kind of a link to where we all belong, it's there. It's definitely worth checking it out again.
The first day I was here, someone I met talked about investigating the tracks themselves to see where they lead. [That Gareki guy was kind of annoying, but he did have a point with that one.] Has anyone tried that before?

I believe you were unable to see the train because there is not one, merely the suggestion of one, the suggestion of travel to allow our minds to assimilate more quickly to our new destination.

she's a little confused, though, and slightly dips her head to the side in question at his last few words. he doesn't care about the jungle?
she says: But surely you must, even a bit, if you want to find this 'train' in the first place-? ]
Rr-?

kyo doesn't have much of a chance to ponder that before something weird happens. no. not weird. well — yes, weird. he doesn't know. he knows what it is, but he doesn't; it's like cats, how those things are always following him, and he knows what they want, because they're cats.
but this isn't a cat. and he's not shigure. and actually this was a lot more… smart… sounding, somehow, than the kind of things cats normally think, and how did he understand it? did he understand it? — what? )
Did — ( he looks around, to make sure no one is listening to him talking to a video of a dog — ) you just say something?

Do you know around what time it comes and goes?
I caught it pulling up last time before it dumped a bunch of people, but it left before I could get in.
[ He's been trying to find out where it leads and where the next stop is after this. Is it even run by a person or all machine-programmed? ]

The "void"? I don't know if I'm following—what's that supposed to be?
