Time for a break.

[ Yaha holds his hands straight out in front of him before making a sweeping gesture down. Tearing through the fabric of reality. The magic crackles in the air as a familiar face stands before him. Jake Muller. The elf's smile is affectionate toward his friend as he reaches his hand out to lightly touch the side of the young man's scarred face. ]

You will be missed, Jake. But you also must take your lumps. [ A blade appears in his other hand as he begins to viciously stab the illusion repeatedly in the face. There is a shuddering of his spell before fractures appear around each stab-wound until "Jake" shatters to nothing. ]

I do think I am getting better, children. I used to take this out on real people. But there's no time for that. No time at all.

[ Which may be the real reason as he turns back to what he is truly working on. He is building himself a small shrine to Hellboy, Abe, and Loki. The figures are mere illusions that stand far taller their actual counterparts. Runes are being scratched into the floor to try to ensure his spell holds form rather than collapses. At least, for a few day's time.

Loki stands between the two. The tallest of them both as his patron God. Garbed in gold and green. Hellboy and Abe wear the crowns that he wishes they would as he has them stand guard over the God of Mischief. ]

A pantheon that I wish had come to pass. They would have ruled over us marvelously. [ ... ] And that is why I share this to you all. The talk that I had with a dear friend about religion was an interesting one. I thought that we could have something to pray to... something real and we've experienced. Something flesh and blood rather than ethereal and beyond our reach.

That is what we should believe in.
