A question, if I may.

Why are we allowing the Project Head to live? He may be a victim like us? Isn't that what sweet Connor said? Are you forgetting the ones before him? Simply because he is as he is, you let him live. We capture and acquire such information from a cultist yet unwilling to bleed a so-called innocent man.

Do you see the sky above us all? Do you truly see it? Sadly, all I see are bars. We live an illusion. Surely, there are those that agree he should die. Surely, you all are not taken in by the image of an innocent man.

Let us parade his ruined corpse just inside the campus grounds. A message sent to both cultists and COMPASS, yes? Please tell me that sense is finally returning to you all... or will you disagree simply because I am the one saying it?

Mostly because you're the one saying it, but there is another reason for keeping him alive at this point. Better safe than sorry. As I hear, they have him on constant guard anyway. It should be fine.

Better safe than sorry would be to have his head mounted on a pike. Keeping him alive is what is dangerous to us all. It seems you forgotten the humiliation and pain that the previous Heads have given us.

Two reasons.

Firstly, because he's an asset. We may need his perspective in the future, or he may have a different use when it comes to COMPASS. He is the only such asset within our possession. It would not be prudent to simply kill him, tempting though it may be.

Secondly because, as Erik and Hange have already said, we suspect his presence is part of the reason why the Cultists have not been able to attack us at full force. If that's true, then it's senseless to kill him.

Killing him will accomplish nothing. The Project Head is a mere puppet of COMPASS and always has been. He might, however, be useful towards truly settling this. Do not be a fool.

If he is a puppet, he is of no use to COMPASS. There is no settling and there is no bargaining with them. They may very well send someone else down to deal with his incompetence. Either way, he is a liability more than a strength for us.
