[ The video flicks on to a young woman sitting in one of the empty classrooms. The room she has claimed looks to be fairly cleaned out, but not entirely still. It's a work in progress. She's sitting on the floor, looking off past the camera at something else. There can be heard sounds of clicking and hissing beyond the cameras and loud scuffling sounds.
Finally, she looks back to the camera, lilac eyes smiling slightly as she looks proud. ]
Before I say anything, I would like to extend my gratitude to all who assisted me in reaching this safe haven. I do not think I, or my dragons, would have survived alone, and I am in debt to those who protected us. I will not forget my friends, and should there come a time when I can assist you I would hope you remember me.
For anyone I have yet to meet, I am Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, Queen of the Seven kingdoms, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, and Mother of Dragons. [ She pauses, hesitating over this next part. ] Someone explained to me that sometimes people come to this place, and when they leave and later return they do not remember their time here. If you knew me before [ this seems strange and unreal to admit ] then I apologize now for having forgotten you. I do not do so by my own will. [ Which makes her prickle slightly with anger. ] It is my hope that I can know you again, as allies and friends seem to be a great commodity here.
None of this is the real reason why I come to everyone today. [ She turns her camera around to show the source of the continues hissing and clicking and scuffling. Three dragons can be seen in an entangled mass. Sometimes separating and flying as high as they can before diving back into each other. They're fighting with each other. Not really fighting, though. More like sparring. Testing themselves out against each other without striking truly to hurt the other. ] They are the reason I come to you today.
I have been to the place where food is kept on this campus, but all I have found is... [ She holds up a can now as the camera is turned back to her, showing the creamed corn. ] Corn mixed into some kind of syrup? [ What have you people done to corn? ] I am willing to eat the same rations that we are all being made to eat, if this is truly what our supply is. But my dragons cannot eat this food. This will not sustain them and they will grow weak too quickly if they try.
I require meat. It does not have to be prepared, the dragons can char their own meat, but I am not a hunter. Were I hunter, still, I do not think I could bring down one of those large snakes alone and I do not wish to test my dragons against the snakes. [ They are vicious and good against humans, but they are three dragons only twice the size of a house cat each and the snakes can sometimes get to be fifty feet in length... ]
Is there any meat to be found? Or smaller game my dragons can hunt themselves? This is of utmost importance to me.
Finally, she looks back to the camera, lilac eyes smiling slightly as she looks proud. ]

[ It's not even food, it's just slop. He doesn't blame her for wanting something better. ]
I've yet to come across anything different, but there are more than just cultists in the jungle outside. If there's meat to be had, I'm sure I could find it for you.
video
I do not mind the corn so much. [ Ish. Look. She's survived on worse. ] But I would owe another debt to any who could help me feed my dragons. Their survival is my top priority.

Still, she's royalty. He should probably pay some sort of attention. ]
A Queen who spends her time taming wild dragons? I know everyone needs a hobby, but that seems a little excessive.
[ ...or he could just judge her life choices. That would work too. ]

They are my children. I gave life to them when they were eggs others had thought turned to stone and lost to the ages.
I would never fear my dragons. But my enemies should. [ They are wild in a sense that they only obey her and no one else, but don't insult her babies. ]

How much do they eat? It would take more effort if they require a full snake for each of them. [ The tone suggests that regardless how much she said, he'd probably still make an attempt at getting it. He'd feed dragons before most of the people here. ]
video;
Any food is what matters. They can eight up to their weight in meat a day at the least, but they have been able to survive on less.
Any would be better than the none we have found thus far.

Your majesty, you already know of d'Artagnan, but as another Musketeer I would like to pledge my allegiance. I will do whatever I can to assist you. [ She's a Queen, what can he do. ] There is a jungle here. I do not know what it holds but perhaps I could find out.

Ser Athos. [ She already knows his name, yes. Blame d'Artagnan. Again. ]
I am honored by the assistance the Musketeers have given me thus far. And I am honored again to have finally met you.
I believe d'Artagnan may be assisting in those matters. I would hope any who hunt do not do so alone. These jungles do not seem safe to be in alone and I would like every one to practice caution.

I have snake meat. It is salted and preserved, and there is not much of it, but the last of it is yours. Do not allow your creatures [the last dragons he had heard of were from martin, and that had been weeks upon weeks ago. before steve and the rest of this mess.] outside the bounds of campus. They will be killed by the forces outside.

As for your meat, I am grateful for the assistance, but I would not steal the last of your own rations. I do not ask others to starve themselves to feed my dragons.

voice;
When you reply or make an announcement, the machine gives three images along the top. The first is for written word, the second displays image and voice, and the third is only for voice. [ She has no idea what those pictures are of so this is the best description she has. ]
The snakes can also restrict, which I would like to avoid as well.

How much do they need to eat?

Their weight in meat a day, at the least. Sometimes double their weight if they are feeling gluttonous.

I wouldn't mind giving you a hand, neither would a friend of mine. [ Because friends obviously true friendship is doing dangerous things together. ] We could take down one of those snakes for you, I'm sure.
video;
A snake would likely feed them for days, possibly a week. If you would be able to, we would owe you dearly for your assistance.

lydia's surprise is masked well by the time she turns on the video, but her voice is hurried in a way that betrays the excitement she feels. ]
Don't let them attack the frogs in the jungle. They're poisonous - if you don't want to test them against the snakes, I don't think you want to test their immunity to frog venom.
video;
At least the snakes remain a food option for them. [ Better than her last idea if all else fails: the cultists. ]

I can help. [ His offer seems stiff, and almost eager. ] The snakes are easy to take down, and if that isn't to their liking, I can find something else.

The snakes here grow so large.

[Surprise, it's not a question so much as a calm acceptance. It doesn't sound like the kind that were where he's from but it's still uncanny that so many different people here deal with some of the same things he did.]
Guess if you gotta pack heat that's one way to go.

Right now it looks like food supplies will be limited until the train tracks are restored. It's their way of punishing us, essentially.
The most I've seen in the way of meat being brought in is those giant snakes, and there are enough people making a sport out of heading out and taking them down. There might be more in the wilderness, but I wouldn't recommend sending your little ones out there. You risk them not coming back again.
[video]
Were this home I would feel comfortable with sending them to hunt their own meat, but you are right. I do not trust this land and the cultists give me pause to do so here. [ She debates feeding them cultists too but.... no that's too terrible. ]
We are lucky to have so many offer to bring us what they hunt. It should be more than enough until supplies are less limited, I think.
