[ And as a show of good faith, he sticks in a spoon and takes a little bite, without grimacing. It does taste alright, made with sugar and canned condensed milk, but lacking heavy cream they'd been forced to make due with other thickening agents.... The texture is definitely wrong for ice cream. ]
