OR not. Chances are it won't end and I'll have to attended the yearly annoying and unpleasant family Christmas in a few days.
(I feel I should warn you this is just my insane rambling on the Eve of 12/21/12. This may or may not happen or even be truth. It's just something to think about.)
HOWEVER...
In keeping with the theme everyone will be talking about for at least a few more days lets talk about this.
The Mayans.
The Hopi.
Nostradamus.
2012.
Okay so chances are that the world won't end tomorrow. We'd probably, even as normal JoeCitizens, know something was up by now. Now I'm not saying I know everything there is to know about the above subjects but think about this, the internet and major world travel didn't then like they do now. Sure people traveled the world but not as quickly or easily as they do now.
So The Ancient Hopi in Arizona and The Ancient Mayans in the southern end of Mexico and in Renaissance France, Nostradamus.... all have similar accounts as to how the world will end. Many prophecies mention earthquakes and "stars" falling from the "heavens".
Then think about this.
So even if tomorrow doesn't hold earthquakes or pole reversals or meteors, who's to say it won't OR can't happen?
Something else not quite relevant to this discuss but I feel needs to be mentioned within this line of thinking.
Do you believe in Aliens?
Yes I know ridiculous right? But again think about one thing. The universe is probably billions of times bigger than even we think and we as a human race haven't even seen the tiniest fraction of it yet. Are we as a human race really so conceited to think we are the only planet with life on it. Among all that vastness of space and the billions & billions of planets & stars? We're it? The only planet to develop life?
