What does SF6 mean?

Sulfur Hexafluoride (chemical formula: SF₆) or Sulphur Hexafluoride, is a colorless, odorless, non-flammable gas and an excellent electrical insulator.
SF₆ is widely used as a gas insulator in electrical equipment, and in medical applications such as ophthalmology.

Note:
SF₆ is a greenhouse gas 23,500 times stronger than CO₂. To minimize greenhouse gas emissions many are moving to SF₆-free technology.
