Submissions will be due Sunday, February 23 at 10am. Winners will be announced live at 2pm.
No submissions will be accepted after February 23 10:00am, 2025 unless the submission deadline has been extended and communicated to all teams.
Eligibility
All common core engineering undergraduate students at the University of Calgary.
Groups are to be sizes of 2-4. If you sign up as an individual, you will be grouped up with others.
Project and Submission Requirements
Requirements will be communicated at the event. A video submission will be expected.
It is expected that you go outside for approximately half an hour as part of this hackathon. If that is not possible, please communicate it and accomodations can be made.
All projects should be completed by just the group members. No outside help is permitted except from organizers.
AI may be used, but general plagiarism practices should be followed.
Prizes
Approximately $2500 of prizes will be awarded (subject to change). These will be awarded based solely on how well projects fit a rubric. The exact awards are subject to change.
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
A rubric will be created and followed to score each submission. Judges reserve the right to deduct points due to rule violations.
