Hello,
First off, I would like to thank you, dear vidder, for the time, energy and creativity spent on making my (perhaps odd) vid dreams come true. I appreciate the work that goes into making a vid, and am excited to see what you come up with.
Secondly, below is a bit of detail about my requests, in case you would like a little glimpse at why I requested each.
Thanks once again,
GhostTownExit

Black Books [TV]
Details:
What is it that makes this toxic work environment so much fun (you know, besides the fact that we don't work there)? Ideally, something focusing on Manny, and his optimism/ masochism in dealing with Bernard.

Gigi (1958) [Movie]
Music:
I only ask that you avoid using a song from the film. It's not that they aren't endearing, but I think a less obvious choice would make for a more interesting vid.
Details:
This movie is like cinematic confection: sweet, light, and bound to get stuck in your teeth at some point. I find this movie fascinating on at least two levels: the surface of bright colors, witty characters, and youthful romance; and the deeper level of scandal and implied debauchery. In other words, a vid playing around with one (or both) of these is sure to hit the spot.

I Heart Huckabees [Movie]
Details:
At any given time, I'm fighting the temptation to flee my job in academia and become an existential detective. So, first off, any vid focusing on the detectives themselves (and/or their delightfully dark nemesis, Catherine Vauban) would be fun. Then again, I also think a vid about Albert and Tommy, and how they come to help each other out, would make for a neat look at the film.

Quantum Leap [TV]
Details:
Seriously, Quantum Leap, you guys. There are so many directions you can go with this: Sam Beckett, Sam and Al, Sam struggling to get home, the strangeness of time. So many things, and any of them would make for a welcome vid.

Sliders [TV]
Details:
Much like one for Quantum Leap, a vid for Sliders could go in any number of awesome directions: the gang and their growth over time, the bizarre nature of interdimensional travel, the utter coolness of one Rembrandt Brown.

The Nanny [TV]
Details:
Maybe it's her blue-collar class, or maybe it's her raunchy, vaudevillian humor, but Fran Fine has always struck me as irresistibly charming. A vid that can do justice to that charm, be it from her persistance or perversity (or both), would definitely be cherished. That being said, I would welcome anything working to tease out the show's emotional heart. But, I'd also be excited to recieve anything differing from the above, as well.

P.S.: I'm always open for treats, if someone has something in mind.
