I can't find a good way to smooth the sculpey out either. The smelly bug tutorial says to use a sponge and turpenoid? But I don't think my sponge is very good, and I don't have any turpenoid (whatever it is).
I've gone the other way, and decided to texture him with scar tissue [basically I scrapped a toothpick all over him].
I'm going to just do a few final touch ups on him when I get home, and then he's going into the oven. I'm hoping to go round to a friends house to borrow his air-brush. I'm crap at painting, and the few sculpts I've painted have come out really bad. I'm hoping air-brushing turns out better.
I tried rubbing alcohol but apart from attracting dirt it didn't seem to have any effect. I figured I should just put him in the oven now before I mess him up more lol.

Oh yeah...he still needs wings...but yeah he's nearly done.:) Are you going to paint Zombo?
