I can't get my sculpture to stand upright. I can't lean him against anything because of his tail. I need to secure him or he'll fall over and break again. Any suggestions?
Probably best to make a base for him. Get a chunk of MDF and secure him to that, and then build it up with some sculpey to look like rock or something :)
I don't know to be honest. I can't see it changing the paint too much. But what you could do (if you have a lot of sculpey to spare) is make a base and imprint his feet into it. Then bake it separately and superglue him onto it afterwards. Sculpey barely changes after baking, so it should fit okay.
I think I inhaled a lot of paint last night from the air-brushing. I dreamt about midget prostitutes. It was weird. I'm trying to stay away from inhaling anymore chemicals. So I understand completely :0p
Try and bake at a really low temperature. I know acrylic can melt a bit even after it's dried, but I don't think that's the case with water-based paints.
