Thanks. :D The tags are awesome. This particular one said the bird was found in 1880 in British Honduras (what is now Belize.)

Blancaneaux the french naturalist collected it, but whether he shot it or someone else did I have no idea. The bigger specimen is from Chiapas, Mexico in 1897.

Oh he's seen lots of artists. He was however, very friendly and helpful. I think part of him being wary of me is people have come in and damaged specimens in the past. X( Don't blame him for being wary. That makes me angry too.

I'd also happily sell you the Frida pic if you want. email me to suggest a price if you want. :)

He was lovely actually. I think he's had people come in and treat the specimens disrespectfully so he was wary. But a lovely chap.

People have tried pulling the wings apart on the specimens and stuff and broken them. X(
