Failed field validation deletes complete entry

In Settings/Sync/Webdav

If URL field validation fails, an error is displayed to the user and then the field is blanked. My expectation would be that the text the user has entered stays untouched so that the user can correct instead of typing everything again.

Maybe this is true for other fields too.
