[Feature Request] Add the option to start Minimized to tray

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I want to have Rare running in the background and launch my games through steam. Having it start with Windows is a great solution but what's frustrating is that I always have to manually click the X every time I start up my PC to get it to go to the tray.

I'd like a setting that lets me have it start it in the system tray so that it works as a perfect way to launch epic games with steam input.

Starting rare minimized, but that doesn't put it in the tray and is generally not a real solution

You do not need Rare's main application running to launch games through Steam if you added them to Steam through Rare. Just remember to run Rare once a week for your stored credentials to be renewed.

I'll keep this open though in case we decide to implement starting in tray.

It is an issue with the image of the icon on Windows, which I didn't catch in time. This is also why the icon is also missing from the taskbar. It has been fixed. I am just waiting to resolve another issue before releasing.

This feature has been implemented now through a switch in the settings.

While implementing this, I found out that Rare already supported some form of this, albeit it was not easily exposed. Until this makes it into a release you can edit the shortcut you use to launch Rare and add the --silent argument to the executable. It should do what you are looking for.
