backport of #1580 to stable 3815
In January Kai fixed a bug in handling Omaha responses with self-hosted packages (sysexts) in an airgapped environment (#1580) but the fix was tied to ue-rs which isn't in stable yet. The same bug exists in stable and prevents clients in such environments from updating to 3815. Backport a fix to this issue in the non-ue-rs flatcar-postinst script.
The fix is in flatcar/update_engine#39.
