Extension host terminating on macOS with v1.106 #277064

Upon open, I see an error stating: "Extension host terminated unexpectedly 3 times within the last 5 minutes." This happens instantly upon start. I am not sure how to reliably reproduce this issue. However, for context, before it began I was running vite and flask servers from a virtual environment, and I had to force restart while downloading an application. The issue began immediately after the restart.
Since then, I have tried:
- Using the provided Extension Bisect tool which failed to find an extension
- Clearing my extensions
- Reinstalling VSCode
- Clearing associated VSCode files as done shown in step 3 of https://gist.github.com/karansinghgit/120ac7a5bee54430fed8a94b0fd6e426
And all attempts have failed. Any help fixing this would be much appreciated, and let me know if there is more information I should provide.
