looking for maintainers

Since I no longer have a project where I can use react-page, I also no longer had a chance to maintain it properly as you may have noticed.

I think the challenge maintaining it are:

• complexity of the project
• not breaking it for existing developers
• beeing careful with allowing new features to keep the api surface and complexity of the project small

Current problems are:

• update react-dnd so that it works properly with latest next.js and vite
• in general update dependencies to their latest version
• probably modernize the deployment pipeline

I'd recommend to for the moment to not add new features, but update everything first.

I'm currently using react-page for a new project, and would love to help maintain the project. I think moving to react-beautiful-dnd and adding support for React 18 would be my first priorities. That should resolve the next.js and vite compat issues.

I have just started work on a basic note taking app in react and paralley was also looking to start contributing to open source. Would you be open to assistance from a first time contributor?
As per your suggestions, I plan to start with updating the existing features and deps first.
