I think yes. After all, this change doesn't have to be simultaneous in all of the components, so I guess it's safe to split it (and seemignly preferable, judging by rusbot's message). Note: I'm not affiliated with rustc-dev-guide or rust-analyzer. |

I don't think you've split the commit correctly, there is now just a second commit that undoes some of the changes of the first, rather than a single commit that does fewer changes |
