Glit (Glitterbomb) of Stanix is the only cougaraider to become a medic and not a soldier. He is a die-hard pacifist and became a Decepticon because he hated the Functionalists, but never agreed to participate in any violence himself. Glit always made it clear to everyone that he was only there to heal and would heal whoever needed it, in order of whoever needed it most.

As Megatron grew more manic and more violent over time, he ceased to value this and grew angry that Glit would always give preference to those who needed him most, even if they were enemies or prisoners. After clashing with him repeatedly over this issue, he sent Glit to be the chief medic at the Grindcore prison camp, saying that if he liked treating the enemy so much, he could be deployed to a place where he could do that full-time. Glit accepted the position willingly at first, believing that he was needed at Grindcore more than anywhere else, but over time, the conditions he was faced with broke him down inside.

Sometime during his years there, he fell in love with a human woman, Naoko, and returned to Earth with her at the end of the war, when the camp was destroyed and the prisoners released. He lived with her until she died.

Glit was a heavy drinker and drug user who occasionally toyed with the idea of submitting to mnemosurgery before he came to the Nexus, but he always decided against it; he believes it's his duty to remember the fallen and the defenceless. He is now sober. It's not always easy for him to stay clean, but he has to do it for Lotor, and to be the kind of person he wants to be.

Glit loves to sing. He has a beautiful voice, which he is shy about, but will sing without shame when drunk. He has toured with the pop star Rosanna in her band, the Kiss Players, though he is usually smashed on stage.

He's now the medic for the Decepticon Embassy in the Nexus, and he's adopted the de-aged Lotor of Galra (princeprocyon) as his son.
