Oregon Coast from Otter Crest

This is where I went on Friday. This is Otter Crest, which is about 25 miles from where I live. I took a local bus to a nearby stop, and walked a few miles to get here.

This is what I do when I am not working, being sick, or fiddling around on the internet.

It does. Even with all the beautiful coast here, this stretch was one of my favorite parts.

Well, the first thing that came to mind was the coast of Chile...which is very comparable in most ways! Like, from pictures of the Chilean coast, you wouldn't know that you weren't looking at a similar latitude on the Pacific Coast in the northern hemisphere.

Well, that makes sense. I guess it's like southern hemisphere California.

I think the whole Pacific coast must be beautiful, at least on this side of it. Compared to what I've seen of the Atlantic, it's in a whole different league.

It really is, and it just keeps going. Like, I could go south 500 miles from where I am, and constantly see new and different things. Its not like other places where it is just one or two resorts.
Well, now I want to get out and see more!
