veronica mars feels

graygradient i just finished watching veronica mars season 4 last night. i am displeased, to say the least. for those who haven't watched it, and still care to, spoilers under the cut.
veronica finally having a happy ending would indeed be the end of the show, thematically, i understand. that being said: logan did not deserve to die. i haven't seen the movie, but from what i can see, he did all right. he grew up into a decent man.
i don't think he was right for veronica at all, but i can definitely understand how they kept ending up together. they went through a looooot of shit together. they could have gotten married, and, post honeymoon phase, gotten divorced. then, veronica could have continued on as her fabulously fucked up self for as many season as they wanted, and then when wall was said and done, she and logan could have gotten back together in the end. they always do.
and poor leo. i don't understand why they had to drag him back into it. veronica never did right by him either. as much as i wanted veronica to stay loyal to logan to prove how good of a person she could be, i really wanted the showrunners to throw him a bone (pun not intended) and let them finally do the do, since it's very obvious veronica wanted to. let them get it out of their systems and again, logan and veronica could get back together at the end of the show. you know, over the course of the many seasons we'll never have.
i figure wallace being in the corner of her room during the leo sex dream was meant to represent veronica's conscience, but honestly, that was just creepy.
