Language Classes and Events

The Library offers virtual and in-person language learning experiences at various library locations. For classes and events to learn English specifically, go to the Learn English at OCLS Resource Guide for dates, locations, and times. Registration is strongly encouraged for in-person events because attendance may be limited.

Spanish Conversation
Develop your Spanish language skills through conversation. Conversational topics and themed vocabulary will be provided. Recommended for adults.

Attend these virtual Spanish classes leveled for beginners, learning the basics, and intermediate learners.
Homeschool: Spanish
Develop your Spanish skills with us! Learn basic vocabulary, numbers, colors and much more. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.

Learn American Sign Language (ASL) online at your own pace. ASLdeafined can be used by Deaf students, parents of Deaf children, and anyone wishing to learn ASL. New lessons are added weekly and are available for all ages.
