HackCWRU is Case Western Reserve University’s annual hackathon. Groups of 1 - 4 members have 36 hours to make a technology project in one of four project tracks and win prizes.

Eligibility

Anyone currently attending middle school, high school, or university. Teams can have between 1 and 4 individuals. 

Requirements

Make sure you select the prizes that apply to your hack. All projects must be submitted before 8 am on Sunday, February 9. Note: You may continue to work on your hack until 9 am on Sunday.

    How original is the project? Does the hack us a tool or technology in a unique way?
  • Practicality
    How useful is this hack? Is there a realistic market for this product? Does this project achieve its goal?
  • Technical Depth
    How technically difficult is this project? Is the hack created with tools new to the hackers?
  • Polish
    How is the project presented? Does the hack work as expected? How does the project look? Does the hack have an intuitive user experience?
