[Frau had changed his mind -- cold weather sucked. Half an hour out in the storm was all it took for him to start feeling almost painfully sluggish. Each step forward was an uphill battle that he was ready to wave the white flag on. It felt like an age had passed since he noticed the cabin five minutes ago, and he felt exhausted by the time he reached it. His mind felt as sluggish as his body, his thoughts dragging as his senses dulled.]
[It's unfortunate, because when he finally opens the door, there's already someone else in the cabin. Two someones. Two someones he really should have sensed and really shouldn't be around at all, let alone when he's exhausted and cold and literally half frozen. He should run. He should fight. He should do something as both a Ghost and a bishop to make sure that he's not going down without a fight, but instead...]
Muh...? [What are Ayanami and Hyuuga doing here?]

Muh...? [What are Ayanami and Hyuuga doing here?]

Though that probably worked in his favor all things considered, because rather than Ayanami immediately putting up his hackles and preparing for a fight, he actually paid some mind to the fact that Frau looked a little more like a Ghost-cicle than anything else.]
Oh dear, you poor thing. Come out of the cold. [But he's careful to not get any closer just in case. Hyuuga can take care of that part. But he figures they can all start killing each other once Frau thaws back out a bit.]

Close the door, you're letting out all the warm air. [Hyuuga waves a hand a little dismissively, gesturing at the door. There's a slight edge to his voice -- less because it's Frau and more because for fuck's sake, if Frau lets all the warm air out after Hyuuga spent three hours finding and drying wood and building a fire to make sure they could stay through the weather without Ayanami getting sick, Hyuuga might actually skewer him.]

[Very slowly, Frau drags himself the rest of the way inside. He doesn't so much close the door as listlessly hault it closed behind him. He doesn't let go of the handle right away; he doesn't bother pointing out that he only hangs on because his fingers are too stiff from the cold to move easily.]
... How'd you two even get out here? [Frau crashed his hawkzile after getting attacked by a monster. What's your excuse, guys?]

Do you think we never do anything other than sitting around filling out paperwork in our offices? [Because if so, Frau, let's be honest, you'd kind of be right.
Ayanami resists the urge to smirk wider as he notices the way Frau's fingers linger uncomfortably at the door. But he can't quite keep himself from commenting on it.]
Why don't you come sit down closer to the fire before your hand freezes to the door?

He snags the spare chair with his foot and pushes it across the floor to Frau.]
Here. You can have the chair. [It's a little wobbly. Hyuuga kind of hopes it breaks when you least expect something.]

[As Frau speaks he carefully forces his fingers to uncurl. He's moving slowly and it's painfully obvious he's not anywhere near his full strength, but at long as he doesn't do something really embarrassing like fall on his face or lose control of the Scythe, he'll be fine.]
[Straightening up properly, he waves his hand at Hyuuga's offer.] Keep it. [He doesn't want to get frozen sitting down. He finally steps forward properly, towards the fireplace, and reaches for one of his inner pockets as he does. Where are his cigarettes...?]
