are you angry with everyone who ever lied to you and told you that "it gets better" ? it was always adults always feeding others with lies about everything. bunch of pathetic jackasses acting like they're good for anything. or even worse, the ones who told you "it can't be helped" so that they can get off easily without ever putting in any effort. should've put my foot up their asses since "it can't be helped" anyway.

is this what was meant by better? maybe it is after all, because now we know better.

Depends on the context. Being pulled out of a burning building technically means your life is better, but in the long-term, usually experiences tend to be worse than better.
