VIDEO; UN: Trickster (backdated to Plague Day 2)

[Gabriel doesn't normally look quite so panicked. Normally he's carefree, laughing and joking and being ridiculous, but now he looks worried. There's a slash across his eyebrow, a deep slash or claw-mark perhaps, and it's leaking a thick trail of blood. Gabriel ignores it though, and even as he speaks, it begins to close up. Angels heal fast.

Besides, he has bigger things to worry about. He's leant against a door, some people might recognise it as the door that opens into the Cuddle Club. Beyond it, there's an unpleasant scuffling noise and then the horrible noise of an angry cat, hissing and growling.

Gabriel winces. He's put his weight against the door, trying to be surreptitious about it. He doesn't have animals up here. He certainly doesn't currently have crazy, rabid, violent bunnies and cats and who knows what else. Nope. Nothing to see here]

Er... Silks is going to be closed for the rest of the week. Nothing to worry about, just some minor redecoration and maintenance. You guys really know how to have fun!

I've had to lock her in the closet. She sort of attached herself to my face by her claws. Didn't really want to encourage that sort of behaviour

Last I saw of him, he was going on about the animal revolution being at paw, that we fleshy creatures should fear the four legs good war coming. If he breaks anything, I'll pay for it.

Anything on the tinkly Heaven line about why all the animals I've seen today are trying to eat demons and angels?

it sounds like the furry friends on the softer side might have had a paw in the redecorating? i could stand to avail myself of some of the services of the harder side, but that can wait.

i would appreciate it. i've been running on fumes and at some point, i'll need some way to recharge at some point.

[ Greg is worried. This all feels like Initiation Day all over again, and he's up to his elbows in problems at the moment, but while he has confidence in Gabriel's ability to manage, he still doesn't like to see him hurt. He's unscathed at the moment, himself, but he's sweating. And he still has a long day ahead of him. ]

[ There's a slight upturn in Gabriel's lips. Greg worries so much. He's still a little floored by the fact someone worries about him like, even when Dad only knows what is going wrong around them.

In fact, Dad probably doesn't even know.

He gestures to his face. ] It's fine. But Princess almost took my fingers off this morning. I... she's sleeping, in my office.

What can I do to help you? I'm guessing that the most of LHPD took today off.

[ There's the distant sounds of growling somewhere outside, followed by a much louder crash, but Greg just grimaces slightly. He doesn't seem to be concerned that whatever is going on just outside is about to get to him. It... probably won't. Andy's entertaining himself, at least. ]

It's not as bad as you might think. With things going as crazy as they are, it turns out that they would rather be around people who are reasonably well armed and not as likely to shoot them in the back as help them.

[ They're a pretty sad lot, honestly, but they're still cops. They may not be noble enough for self-sacrifice, but they tend to stick together when things get bad. ]

Making them sleep it off seems like a good idea. Is that hard to do for you?
