Uh, hi.

[ Clearly he's not fully comfortable with addressing everyone in Hell, but it's either do this or just argue with himself forever, and that's been getting him nowhere. ]

I'm Topher. Brink. Topher Brink.

[ He waves. Okay, now that greetings are done, time to get to business. ]

I need some advice of the... romantic sort. There's a girl- a woman here, and I think we're having a little problem.

[ Yes, he's aware that this is embarrassing. ]

She keeps trying to run away, like she doesn't want to actually see me. I mean, we've had some problems before, but-

[ He doesn't know how to finish that. She died before they could actually make progress. ]

I can't tell if I did something, but there's always a reason why someone would want to push another person away. I think, anyway.

[ He isn't really speaking with a lot of experience behind him, after all. ]

Has that happened to any of you before?

[ As he's winding this down, he finds himself wondering just how it happened that his first-ever message is one dealing with romantic problems. Again, it seems a little embarrassing, but he's in over his head, and he needs some outside advice. ]

does she KNOW you two are romantically involved?

or is this one sided and she's legit just trying to get away from your psychokillerself?
onteamdyson: (fuck you jefferson)

[personal profile] onteamdyson 2017-03-25 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Im just assuming you're some kinda psycho killer if she literally keeps trying to run away due to, idk, a bloody axe in your hand or electric eel tasers or those pointy rake things you can get in the gardening supply part of home depot! Less intimidating, more personal for the last one, but still p. pyscho.

was the moment interrupted by her screams?

Mr. Brink, I'm Captain Jackson.

[Jackson is not the best man to get romantic advice from given that he has never quite figured out what women truly want. On the other hand, he's had experience with women running away. Or slapping him.]

Maybe it's not something you did. Perhaps it's something you didn't do. [Actually, he's pretty sure it's one or the other because as far as he can tell, women are always getting annoyed at something you did or didn't do.]

It could be anything. Maybe it's something you've done, or not done. Maybe it's something she's done or not done. How romantic were things, exactly? Maybe she's pregnant.

Topher!

That's an odd name, you know.

[Someone might be slightly tipsy because she doesn't want to deal with her own romantic dilemmas. Big surprise there.]

People tend to have reasons when they push others away, yes. She might just be confused.

[She shrugs. Christine knows that much from her own personal experience.]

Tell me more about this girl, perhaps I can help? You did help me with my little...adventure, after all.

You mean women don't usually run from men? You're probably being creepy. Better quit that.

Normally, if a girl runs away she's either screaming and running as fast as she can, or just keeping ahead of you so you can keep up with her.

Which one is it in this case?

in my experience which is EXTENSIVE if someone is avoiding you its because they dont want to talk to you 😖😖😖 im realising i dont actually have any advice here, if im meant to know someone it doesnt matter what either of us feel on the matter

i did break into someones apartment once and that worked out all right but generally i wouldnt recommend this tactic, not sure why i did it actually in retrospect, felt like the right thing to do at the time 😅😅😅 have you tried writing?????
