love the format of this! makes me think of a storybook, especially the first page, which makes for a very nice progression when the subject/tone deepens as we go.

thank you for the lovely thoughts! :D totally agreed with you - once when i decided to rearrange it into that format, it just slid together like greased lightning / like it was meant to go. it's lovely when stories sort of tell you how to make them.
