* all of the fics by Crystalwren https://archiveofourown.org/works/231862/chapters/354312 (but especially Puppetry/Imperfection/Samson & Delilah/Simulacrum). strong heads up for predatory old!Walter/Integra, Walter being various versions of -phobic, and dead dove in general. No Millennium-connected Walter or young!Walter though.
One of the author's comments is that they thought Walter was just as messed up as all the other Hellsingers (if not moreso) and he just hid it the best. That stuck with me.
